An Open Letter - Class of 2021

An Open Letter to the Class of 2021
“Intelligence plus Character.

That is the goal of true education” – Martin Luther King Jr.

There is no script for what this year is going to look like for you, Class of 2021. Will things ever go back to the normal you were used to? This is a question that no one has the answer to at the moment. In a new world of uncertainty, be confident in your abilities to adapt to your surroundings, whatever they may be. This is YOUR year! You get to be the ones to design what your senior year will look like!
Things like Spirit Week, Football Games, Pep Rallys, Powder Puff, and Homecoming are things that will look completely different with the return to school. Even classes and breaks in between will look and feel differently if and when you go back.

With all that, this is STILL your time to shine! You get to be the ones to design what your Senior Year will look like! You will still make a decision on a college or a trade, order your class ring, take your senior pictures, order your cap and gowns, and before you know, it’s time to GRADUATE!

I’m rooting for you seniors. Get through this year with dignity and integrity. Be mindful that your teachers are doing the best they can with what they are given, just as you are.
You got this!
