Chesapeake Arboretum

Chesapeake Arboretum is one of my favorite locations to work.

The farmhouse is from the 18th century and is now a nature education center focusing on how to live greener.  There are over 3 miles of easy walking trails, 8 different bridges, a picnic area and manicured gardens to wonder through.  They even have a Nature Academy using a hands on approach to teach children about the different plants and animals in the area.

Whether you are looking for family portraits, engagement photos, or senior pictures, the arboretum is a great location.  You can even book them for weddings!  Between the barn, the gazebo, the house, gardens, the bridge leading to the paths through acres of forest all combine to give some of the most diverse backdrops for your portraits.

Here are a few sessions I’ve held here recently!
